Why should you use this Calculator? Because it's the only way to know if the results you're getting are really accurate.

Many people test themselves right out of business because they aren't patient enough to wait for Statistically Significant results or because they take the advice of Marketers who know nothing about statistics.

Waiting for 40 or even 100 actions(sales/opt-ins) is better than nothing but it will almost certainly lead you to making a few bad decisions along the way that will cost you money.

I also recommend you stay away from the Statistical Significance Calculators sold by other marketers. One of them that will remain unnamed is supposedly based on some lost mathematic algorithm. When I tested it, it gave some very bad advice and looked to be about as good as asking a magic eight ball.

Don't forget there's a chance you will never get a statistically significant result if the change you made had no real effect. If you've been testing something for a long time and you don't see any real difference in your conversion rates, you should consider moving on and testing something else.
